TIDY POINT Privacy Policy
App and legal identity
TIDY POINT is provided by TIDY POINT LTD. This policy explains the information used by the app and how locally saved information can be deleted.
Information entered when building a cleaning plan
The following information may be collected or entered when creating a plan:
- Name — required — used to identify the locally saved plan record.
- Phone number — required — used as contact detail inside the locally saved plan record.
- Site address or postcode — required — used to describe the cleaning location in the locally saved plan record.
- Selected cleaning service or services — required — used to define the requested cleaning scope.
- Site type — required — used to describe the kind of premises for the cleaning plan.
- Cleaning frequency — required — used to describe the requested schedule preference.
- Email address — optional — stored only when the user chooses to enter it.
- Preferred date or time — optional — stored only as a user-entered preference; it is not a live availability check.
- Notes or priorities — optional — used to retain the user's cleaning instructions or site priorities.
Where plan information is stored
The fields above are stored in Android SharedPreferences on the user's device after the user validates and saves a plan. The app has no backend, cloud database, authentication system or remote submission service for these plans. Saving a plan does not transmit it to TIDY POINT LTD, the developer or an external server.
Other local app data
- Favourites — the identifiers of services marked as favourites are stored locally.
- Recently viewed services — a short list of recently opened service identifiers is stored locally so the Home screen can resume browsing.
- Local plan status — saved plan records use a local status such as “Saved locally”. This is a device status, not a business confirmation.
Retention and deletion
Saved plans remain on the device until the user deletes an individual plan, clears all local app data using the control on the in-app Privacy Policy screen, clears the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Favourites and recently viewed service identifiers remain until all local app data is cleared, Android app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
Email action and external application behaviour
The Contact Us screen can open an installed email application addressed to support@tidypoint.store for a general support enquiry. The app does not automatically attach or submit saved cleaning-plan details. If no email application is available, the app shows a fallback message. No external email, messaging or sharing application is used to submit a cleaning-plan transaction. No browser action is implemented.
Automatic collection, permissions and third-party services
The app does not automatically collect analytics or advertising data. It does not use Firebase, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, authentication, user accounts, backend servers, cloud APIs, online payments, location, camera, microphone, media-library access or notifications. The app declares no special runtime permissions. Core catalogue images are bundled locally and do not require a third-party image-loading service. Internet access is not required for the core cleaning catalogue.
Payments and sensitive credentials
The app does not implement a payment system and does not collect or store full payment-card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials, passwords, authentication tokens or identity documents.
Personal information and data sharing
Personal information is present only when the user chooses to enter the cleaning-plan fields described above. That information is used for the user's locally saved plan and remains on the device. The app does not share locally saved cleaning-plan information with TIDY POINT LTD, the developer, advertisers, analytics providers or external servers.
Security limitations
Locally saved information is protected by the security controls of the user's Android device and operating system. No system can provide complete security, so users should use normal device protections such as a screen lock and keep the device software updated.
Children's privacy
TIDY POINT is a general cleaning-plan utility and is not directed specifically at children. The app does not provide child accounts or age-targeted services.
User choices
Users can choose not to enter optional email, preferred date or time, and notes or priorities. Users can delete individual saved plans or clear all locally stored app data from the in-app Privacy Policy screen. Android app storage can also be cleared through device settings, and uninstalling the app removes its locally stored app data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app's implemented functionality or data handling changes. An updated policy should reflect the actual version of the app in use.
